Padet Netpakdee was born in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 1987. At the age of 10, he began taking classical guitar lessons from Pracha Jaitae and Manoon Ploypradab at the YamahaMusicSchool in Chiang Mai.

Padet entered the College of Music, Mahidol University in 2006 to study in the Bachelor of Music program, majoring in classical guitar performance, having decided to pursue his career as a performing classical guitarist and teacher. During that period, he had chances to study with Suvich Klinsmith, Leon Koudelak, Nalin Komentrakarn and Dr. Paul Cesarczyk. He then received the Bachelor of Music with First Class Honors in 2009.

A year after, Padet applied and was offered a scholarship to continue his study in the Master of Music program at Conservatorium Maastricht, the Netherlands with Maestro Carlo Marchione.

Padet has been awarded with prizes from different competitions as follows:

1999 – The 2nd Prize from the the Yamaha Music Festival and Competition
2003 – The Gold Medal Prize from the 5th Thailand Youth Music Competition
2000-2004 – The 1st Prize from the Yamaha Music Festival and Competition
2008 – The 3rd Prize from Thailand International Guitar Competition
2008 – Thai Best Player Award from Asia International Guitar Competition
2009 – The 3rd Prize from Asia International Guitar Competition
2009 – The 1st Prize from Thailand International Guitar Competition
2010 – The 3rd Prize from Magnitogorsk International Guitar Competition
2012 – The 3rd Prize from Calcutta International Classical Guitar Festival & Competition ‘Denis Azabagic’

He also had masterclasses with renowned artists, such as Judicael Perroy, Izhar Elias, Katona Twins guitar duo, Lorenzo Micheli, Oscar Ghiglia.

Apart from giving recitals, performing concerts, conducting workshops and masterclasses both domestic and overseas, he has been invited to serve as a juror in classical guitar competition as well.
