Competition Award Ceremony
1. Applicants :
- Open to all nationalities,
- For Solo 15, applicants must be born in 2004 or later.
- For Solo 18, applicants must be born in 2001 or later.
- For Guitar Duo and Solo Open, there is no age limit.
- Application is closed on 8 March 2020
2. Compulsory and Free Choice pieces :
Solo 15 and Solo 18, there are compulsory and free choice pieces.
Other category applicants play only free choice piece(s), multiple pieces are allowed.
- Solo 15, applicants must play Aguado: Leccion 26 as a compulsory piece: Aguado_Leccion 26, all notations are guide line only, and free choice piece(s) which playing time is not more than 8 minutes. Compulsary piece time is not count in 8 minutes.
- Solo 18, applicants must play Giuliani: Etude Op.51, No.15 as a compulsory piece, Giuliani_Etude Op.51 No.15,
all notations are guide line only, and free choice piece(s) which playing time is not more than 10 minutes. Compulsary piece time is not count in 10 minutes. - Guitar Duo, applicants play free choice piece(s), total time not more than 8 minutes.
- Solo Open, applicants play free choice piece(s):
For Solo Open 1st round, total time is 5-8 minutes.
For Solo Open final round, total time is 10-12 minutes.
Note
- If over or under time limit, technical score will be deducted by 1 point. Time is total time competitor spent on stage including Tuning the strings.
- For guitar duo competition, score is allowed on stage.
- For guitar solo competition, score is not allowed. Solo competitors must play from memory.
- Applicant can apply for more than one categories but must play different piece.
3. Guitar used in Competition :
- Guitar such as double top, lattice and carbon fiber have nasal effect, limit in making tone color and no sound development. For sound quality scoring, all competitors must use only traditional fan bracing classical guitar. No other type of guitar can be used.

Guitar Duo :
- 1st prize : 4,000 baht by Guitar Paradiso

Solo Open :
- 1st prize : Kurosawa Guitar sponsored by Sumio Kurosawa san, qualified in the final round at AIGF 2020 (final decision to be made by Yuichi Imai), piece(s) played in this competition cannot be played again in AIGF 2020.
- 2nd prize : Visesnut Case sponsored by Khun Narongsak Visesnut
- 3rd prize : 3,000 baht by Thai Guitar Maker
- 4th prize : 2,000 baht by Thai Guitar Maker
- 5th prize : 1,000 baht by Thai Guitar Maker

6. Application Fee (nonrefundable) :
- Guitar Duo – 1,500 bahts per group inclusive of concert ticket.
- Solo 15, 18, 45 – 1,000 bahts inclusive of concert ticket.
- Solo Open – 2000 bahts inclusive of concert ticket.

Note
- Competitor who pays earlier will have the right to choose playing time before ones who pay later.
- Application is free for Imai or Kurosawa guitar owners who use Imai or Kurosawa guitar in the competition.
